best way to fight chargers?

When doing pubs my lvl 18 zealot ocasionally runs into a charger. You know them, might/charge and a belt full of mana pots (pots spilling out of their belt when they die ) When they are fast they're a pain to kill. I walk, have max block and eth/rep trowing spears on switch but good chargers are to fast to switch back to zeal and hit them. What's the best way to handle them? Shift zeal while trying to get the timing right?|||In my experience in both using and facing Chargers, the best remedy is to pack lots of defense and max block and hope for the best. Chargers are pretty useless up close. Smite works wonders against my Charger.

I've also seen people use terrain to their advantage. There are often rocks and trees and whatnot outside of Rogue Encampment that you can camp out behind.

But I've never played LLD's, so I don't know how relevant this is to your case.
