khalim's flail step by step

Hi

I'm planning on using khalim's flail on my lld mauler. He's almost through nm now and I'll have to get and keep the flail soon. Please take me through the steps. As I understand it:

1) get killed in travi

2) high level kills council (partied of course)

3) collect flail - equip

4) get killed by meph

5) high level kills meph

6) collect body and flail is still equipped

7) never ever drop it

Is that right? If I did happen to unequip it (I know my luck), what is the second best weapon for a level 12 mauler?

Thanks!|||Or, you can complete Khalim's Will (flail + body parts) with a different character, drop it, and collect it with your LLD. As long as you don't use it to smash the Compelling Orb you can do whatever you want with it.|||cralz is correct. completed weapon is better then the normal one.

off topic: i'm not sure but is it possible to upgrade khalims will with the cube recipe? I know someone once did it with Wirts leg.|||Quote:

Could you please clarify: Would the character who completes Khalim's will have to be in hell level, so that my hell rushed lld can pick it up, or can a hell character pick up a normal khalim's will? It's not worth it for me to hell rush another char just for 10 more lightning damage

And the lld can pick up khalim's will even if it has completed all the quests to the end of act 5, or does it need to pick it up during act 3? And this weapon can then be unequipped and re-equipped?
