anyways with some not bad gears on now i thought i was going to try pvping but was suprised when bow zone kept one or two shotting me with invisable bow
heard invisable items could be achived by str bug ?
i had max resis max block with 2500ish hp from cta buff.
i heard its possible to hack or use cheat in pvp could this be the case?
this was my first pvp experiance and im slowly learning about namelocks n stuff
oh and i die to fireball sorce like it 2shots anyway to deal with fire sorce?|||http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/s...d.php?t=537153 have you checked out this guide yet?
Your life seems to be low for PvP and you seem to have little % damage reduction (10 from shako and 8 from enigma).
Ber your shako and use verdungo's hearty cord for more damage reduction vs physical damage characters like bow zons.
Despite what many people say playing a hammerdin requires some practice as well.
What's your hammer damage? do you use desynch to approach hostile chars?
the guide linked to above might help you a bit.
Welcome to the forum

ps.
Use trang gloves for additional cold res

just respec that lazydin and make real char - palabear

as uncle mike said, your life is low for pvp. average hammerdins reach at least 4k life. better ones reach 5k.
are you walking when you're not charging? max block is useless if you're always running. it lowers your block rate to 1/3.
and bowazons are a nightmare for pure hammerdins. don't worry too much about it if you're getting beaten by one.
the invis arrows happen when the zons shoot guided arrows from a long distance, around 1.5-2 screens away. this phenomenon is not exclusive to zons. it also happens with necro's bone spirits and sorc's fireballs. those are the 2 more common ones you'll encounter this bug from. if you think invis guided arrows are bad, wait till you encounter invisible bone spirits. they home, they're invisible, and their slow speed allows them to clump together, meaning if you get caught by one, you're probably dead cos there's 7 more hitting you a split second after.
max resist is not the 'benchmark' for good resists. as a pally, you should have a pretty easy time overstacking your resists actually. as for getting 1-2 shotted by fb sorcs, let's just put it this way. if a fireball does 10k displayed damage, that's 2.5k pvp damage. 75 resists means he does 625 damage per fireball. throw in facets and other +% damage stuff, and the damage easily shoots to more than 1k pvp damage, especially if the -% resistances bring your resists below max.
(edit: btw, 10k is considered VERY low for a fb sorc. the average fire sorcs you meet will deal around 20k. that's 5k pvp damage. with 4 5/5 facets that's raw 6k damage. per fireball. or 1.5k damage if you have 75 res. if your fire resists drop to 55% from 75%, that's 3.3k damage per fireball, more than enough to 1HKO you.)
dealing with fire sorcs is easy. learn to dodge the fireballs. they only use 2 projectile attacks: firebolt and fireball. firebolt is fast, but small and easy to avoid. fireball is slow but fat, and even easier to avoid. with 1 point in vigor on my smiter, i can dodge 9/10 fireballs while walking. there's no reason why your hammerdin shouldn't be able to do the same with maxed vigor and charge.|||Quote:

OT: as far as i remember, fire ball and fire bolt are equally fast. the only difference is (besides possible difference in damage) that fire bolt costs less mana, and fire ball does splash damage, which bolt doesnt.|||Quote:

oh is it? if that's the case i apologize for the inaccurate information. bolts always visually seems faster to me for some reason. maybe cos of their smaller size or something|||Quote:

you are missing one 9 in statement
