Looking for opinions/guides on lvl18 jabber

[:1]Currently on east ladder i've got an 18 jab zon who is doing pretty well. I built her around a guide I found on lld101, however I'm not completely happy with her. Been messing around with things myself ect.

But I would still like to see any guides that might be out there for comparison, lmk if you know of one. Also if you have any experience with this character that would be cool!

If anyone's interested, here is my current setup:

Helm: Mask +45max

Jewelery: Angelics

Armor: Twitch +17max

Weapon: War javs 20ias 58ed 73ar rep quantity <-- non eth

Shield: Vulpine Boneshield of deflection +15max <-- larzuk is a jerk

Belt: Death's

Gloves: Death's

Boots: Cow King's

Inventory: 2x 8fhr lc's, 36x 15 life sc's

A few questions:

1. I currently have 1 point into jab, would it be worth spending more to get rid of the negative damage?

2. Since jab's dmg is so low anyways, are these max jewels even worth it? Or would I be better off using ed% jewels? Also what would I want to look for in rare jewels.

3. For the charms, should i work on finding modded 15life sc's, or would max/ar/life gc's be a better choice?

At only +3% ED per point, your points are better spent elsewhere - higher critical strike if you're aiming for damage, higher inner sight for chance to hit. Also, jab consumes more mana with more points so leave it at 1 point.

2. You'll have to do the damage calculations to find the best balance of ED and max damage. If you decide to include ED in your equipment, you can try to find/gamble a circlet with 2 sockets, 30 ed, +1 passive, +40 life, and other godly mods. Socket this with 20ed/ar/str/dex rare jewels.

3. A few fine grand charms of life wouldn't be bad for more damage/ar. A great jabber would have 500+ max damage jab and still maintain 700+ life.

Other remarks:

Your current setup reaches the 63 ias break point for 5 fpa jab. I'd swap out the twitch for a jeweled 4os armor and go for the 40 ias break point of 5.5 fpa jab- this would result in a better dps. You'll only need 10 ias from your war javs now... so keep imbuing those eth war javs!

If you can get a rare bone/tower shield with both deflecting and equilibrium mods, that'll help make up for the fhr from losing twitch. Vulpine isn't necessary since Angelic's provides 20% dtm. 2 sockets and enhanced defense would make that shield great.|||Quote:

Thank's for the input, came to a few of these conclusions myself in my bored pondering Unfortunatly she is on ladder, so collecting items is tough as they haven't been found yet XD But I WILL have a complete gg lvl 18 as early as possible >.>

What I'm thinking of doing is switching my focus a little to a guided arrow/jab hybrid, with full jab gear in the stash for melee. Got myself a nice reflex bow and a couple high ed/15max jewels (and one 20/15), along with some max/ar/dex, max/ar/frw, and amx ar/life gc's. If i can find a circlet I'll be set.

Going to replace the deaths combo and angelics with iratha's belt ammy and gloves, and find two nice mana rings so i can pewpew my face off, with some ar to help out jab |||I'd go with a stag bow, the damage may be a bit less, but it's faster. Not to mention reflex bows have a level 20 requirement. Otherwise, you're on the right track.|||Quote:

Rofl, stag bow must be what i meant then. Get those two mixed up all the time. The one I have is the lower level one for 18's.
