Need thoughts on my BvB kid

So is this build good on 1.13, was folowing tuner BvB guide, but sometimes i think that str this much doesn't give me the real deal in damage. Althou i usually defeat all Barbs, ofc with some exeptions with perfBarbs or luck, but still something doesn't feel right. So maby should i remove some points of str and add to vit, pls your thougts.

Items:

Areat with 40/9dex, SS with eld, 40/15 dungo, forti, grief 40/380, angelic combo, draculs 14str, gore.

Prebuff 2 hoto, in inv demons limb, cats eye, highlords, 2 230+ 20dex ravens, and a wisp projector|||The tuner guide is antiquated.

With that kind of str, you could go sacred fort. You look ok considering the charms.

I personally think pumping str is a waste for BvB,PvP.

50 pts is a mere 50% ed, and the returns are greatly diminished when you include the PvP penalty, then subtract 50% for damage reduction. The 400+ life you'd get is greater then the diminutive damage bonus.

Allot of people make things more complicated then needed when starting out. Building a barb is very simple stat wise.

Str= just enough to equip everything

Dex= enough to hit 75%

Vita= everything else

This screeny is using just what I have on (NO demon limb etc) 2 wc daggers.|||imba ar, dont say that you are full of 3/20/20 ? How the hell aford them|||I have a few of those, but most are a mix of various. I always shot for plain small lifers first, since they are cheap and give better stack then plain wc gcs. Also, I've worked on this barb for 5yrs and it remains my only dueling character. I once got 3 x 3/18/20 scs for an ear...lol.

Some barbs go for max/ar/life GC's as they are very effective overall and allot cheaper. You can get them once in awhile for skillers that you find etc. Personally I would go that way first. I duel and have duel allot of gg barbs, some of which use GC's, and they have been highly competitive.|||Quote:

or AR charms, which are even cheaper. its almost exactly the same damage in the end for grief/fort (i've done the math).

and if you ever want to use a furyz/ebug sacred prudence switch for fun, or do any kind of ow build, then AR charms are better and you'll already have your charmset .

oh, and why arent you using another ed/dex in your SS? they're much better than eld... the 40% ed is pretty significant and using an eld = less total dex = a bit less AR and def.|||20k ar isn't "imba" it's a standard build goal.

my $0.02: if you're going to go the Titan route, go the whole hog, this is only adviseable if you have a particularly godly charmset and can crack 30k defense. by and large, i find that titan barbs tend to get creamed in FT5 (seriously, i've duelled a total of TWO top notch titan builds in about six years of BvB. Lu_Bu and Akumaxxyz. both these guys went for HUGE and insane amounts of damage. i'm talking +10max/45 life GCs, 4/20 scs, 30 maxers in hat and shield and use a Guilly face. however, both those barbs would die by simply subbing in a Fury weapon for gfg OW).

sockets: that Eld is a waste of a socket in your shield, sockets should be for Damage, AR and Stats (in that approximate order). i use a 30maxer in my helm and a 40ed/-15% reqs jool in shield.

charms: just to reiterate Barloc, you want LIFE first on charms, then look for dual mod charms. any mix of AR/Life or Max/AR/Life in whatever size and quality you can get your grubby mitts on is fine to start. building up a full set of gfg BvB charms is a time consuming, expensive and tedious process (i've had heaps of 3/19/20 and 3/20/19 scs go POP). having a nice cold damage/lifer sc or max/ar/cold damage sc is handy.

one last point, contrary to popular belief, gear isn't everything in BvB. good whirl technique and positioning will get more wins than "perfect" gear. the trick is to try and get in unopposed hit checks (be whirling huim when he aint whirling!). whoever can get the most unopposed hit checks is likely to get more unopposed hits in. more unopposed hits = WIN!

if you want to upgrade anything, look at upgrading that grief. you only need 34% IAS to hit the 4 frame ww breakpoint, so look for a better +damage mod grief.
