PvP merc

[:1]I started playing again and got right back into PvP. I've made 2 characters a BvC (my best/most expensive/fun) and a hammerdin (which I need much more practice with). Anyways, since everything is so cheap nowadays I just recently traded for a 400% ED ebotz war pike. I was going to use it on one of my PvM characters but decided not to as they have no problems killing monsters...Since people mod so much and there are literally no rules in public dueling games I'm getting onto the BM bangwagon and was thinking of using a merc in duels for fun mainly, but also to irritate BM duelers. If people are going to mod or use revives etc. why can't I do the same?

I feel as if an ACT2 merc would be good for their auras, an ACT5 for their stun or an act 1/3 mercenary because they hang back and don't rush blindly into battle.

I have the wealth to equip these mercs, why not use them to help me kill in pubs instead of using an EBOTD to poke at fallen....

Any thoughts or ideas? Players do 6x damage to mercs right? Are the constant resurrection costs worth it?
