Would the charge thing be viable?|||they're called liberators and they do indeed work. i am having trouble locating a thread and/or discussion about them, i know inane fedaykin made a lvl 30 liberator, but i cant remember what it used 100%. i will edit this post in a second if i find it.
i do remember one thing though, when i first made my 30 hammerdin, i used an insight partizan for his switch to provide a decent backup skill attack in charge. it's decent even using mostly hammerdin gear with just that one change. Fed's libby was more balance though and i believe he used a socketed life armor with max damage jewels (possibly a hat too) to increase his chage damge. he also (i think) used a nice divine scepter with relevant +skills with honor in it to provide a nice one handed charge as well as giving a decent amount of +skills to the hammer side.

Edit 2: i'd forgotten that also on my first hammerdin i used a battle sword spirit for the extra damage. the reqs on partizan are pretty high considering the usual amount of str for a 30 caster would be 45 or 60, but that allowed more freedom in picking a harder hitting sprit base so i took advantage.
Edit 3: i noticed a few things about your post after reading it again:
1) swords dont have staff mods, those appear on scepters
2) you're probably better off using ck boots. you dont need what rares have since if you're using spirit/spirit, you have the best fhr you can hit easily. res isnt needed much in 30 lld, the standard gear gets most of it for you in addition to not having facets to worry about (blizz sorcs are exception if they're at 30).
3) 2combat is better than 1 pally. * unless you're in Eu and stuck at 29.
4) like i mention to fed in the above thread, pure hammerdins dont really need help killing, neither do pure chargers. they're both top builds with hammerdin being one of the best.|||Thanks a lot for the quick and indepth reply.

Spirit can not be made in scepters? (bummer)
Charge will do enough damage without inventory stacked with ar max dmg charms?
good point bout the cow king boots. Do they only drop in Cow level? -.-
Anywhere some kind of calculator to see what the dmg output would be with charge and combination with charms w/e?
Seeing res isnt needed, wouldnt it be standard to get a ar ed shield instead of a res shield? I dont really like switching all the time when I want to charge. -.- Probably keep the switch for some holy shield prebuff.
On the other side... with honor switch (+3hs) and a nice 4s ed /ar shield with /ed jools I could pack a huge punch by just pressing 'w' -.- That will allow me to use a eth cs for my spirit, which is just +1000000 for sexyness. (holler)
Also i think resistwise the only thing to matter is Cold sorces, so somehow stacking cold res would be a great idea. Especcially against teleporting orbers who seem to be extremely annoying. Stack res +viper+soe = ,,/,, -.- ,,/,,|||use insight on switch for charge and mana replanish|||Quote:

Use Sanders boots instead of CK. CK boots will piss you off vs certain chars thanks to the mdr bug.|||if his charge is noticeably affected by the mdr bug, he's not doing enough damage. besides, insight (really the best weapon for this build's switch spot) already has some fire damage, so the more you add, the less the mdr bug will affect your physical damage.
he may want to use sanders for the 100 AR, however. just be sure you're going to stick with sanders as the 5 strength will lock you in unless you respec.

-charge does plenty even at just one point and maxing the vigor synergy. you may lack ar, however
-ck boots only drop in cow level, yes.
-there's calculators for everything.
-one of the main sources for your res will be your shield. it'd be worth your time to stash the ed%/ar spirit though. i've never used one myself, but i do have one or two in my bag of mules
-you dont have room for holy shield prebuff, just spend the point on it and your natural +skills will be fine.
-dont use eth cs. you're bound to charge into someone on accident frequently enough so that eventually you'll have to get another. also if you miss the charge you sometimes wind up swinging your weapon at the target and the slower the speed of the weapon the longer you'll be in attack animation. use the fastest, hardest hitting (non eth) spirit sword your reqs allow or honor divine scepter (i'd have both on hand sometimes you'll want to be more of a hammerdin than a hybrid).
-frozen orb isnt used in LLD as the naturally high mdr (and res) most characters have makes them do little to nothing. blizz sorcs are another thing
one thing i meant to add at some point was that a rune staff insight is a fine weapon for a regular hammerdin that wants to do decent damage with charge switch. it has low reqs and does pretty good damage. you probably wouldnt mind the stats for a higher damage polearm since you're wanting to go more hybrid rout.

Who do i mostly play as a level 30 hammerdin? There arent to many lvl 30 chars out there, so mostly i would be pplaying lvl 49 chars? (im europe)
Wouldnt it be a sensible thing to just make a lvl 49 hammer, pump 10 pcombat skillers in there and see the damage skyrocket?
Also, how to counter boners, who seem to like prisoning -.-
