This isn't your typical noobie ghostsin here, I've never had as much trouble as with smiters or V/T and they couldn't even kill me in 1-2 hits. Even though I was WW-ing away from him, he managed to hit me and kill me in one charge + zeal.
Apparently he was using Pheonix, as he had redemption aura. But I never had as much trouble with sosos with pheonix, and they need more than just 2 fireballs to kill my sin.
My suspicions:
He was using hacks, as apparently he was from a "clan" that's well known to using hacks. I think he had AA and TMC, which explained why I couldn't FHR lock him, and when he charged down he was always on top of my char.
A barb in the same game also fell victim to him even though he was WW-ing away from the charge.
Pity I didn't had an essence

But then again, both are caster killing builds and you didn't mention how much DR% you had. I think near 40-50, but can't be certain.
I doubt AA or TMC would be the ones doing this. Charge gets him out of stun anyway, and charge always does the attack when in close proximity anyway.|||regardless of hax etc, a tricked out charger can OHK a 'sin without much drama.|||But 1 handed? Surely the tricked out would be the mass damage two handers right?
Than again, he said 3/4 + a zeal, so still feasible. The barb example isn't as clear, but I'd doubt it'd be 3/4 on him too.|||i know one charger on europe non ladder which uses hacks for sure|||Quote:
OK basically I was using my Ghostsin to duel in pub games, when I met this 9x charger who has a max chant sorc. I used a pair of hotspurs to counter the fire damage, but the funny thing about this charger was all he did was charge once at me and BAM, 3/4 of my life's gone. Then he zealed and I was dead.

It doesn't matter mutch wether you put on hotspurs or not. He uses the enchant to get a nice boost to ar, the fire dmg is just minimal to a 15k physical charge. Same thing with the phoenix, it's for the 400%ed rather then then -res. I've met a charger too that hacked, he used aa (and refill (!) )
but tmc wouldn't help him mutch, as it's easy to get out of a lock with charge.
A charger that uses a phoenix for shield can do Massive dmg (more then 15k average dmg), so if ds triggers, that's 30/6/2 = 2.5hp's when you have max dr. It's very mutch possible yes.|||Quote:

grief/phoenix will probably beat most twohanders damage-wise on a charger (as you've got loads of %ED allready), especially seeing you also get extra DS and the 60% ed automod on the shield you make phoenix in. Grief also gives a very small range between max and min dmg, which in turn means more or less consistent damage on your charge.

The enchant came from a sorc, which means it's pretty synergised. I doubt he's using it for the AR, as you've got ITD on phoenix.|||ITD doesnt work in pvp and phoenix shields dont have ITD in any case.|||He meant in Grief.|||oh yeah, that one totally works
