Auradin in 1.13?

Hello,

I was thinking about trying a Torchadin or Auradin but I remember I read in 1.13 notes that they fixed something with aura stacks. Are these builds with double dragon, double dream, HoJ and similar still viable?

that is absolutely NOT true.

While stacked out conv and stacked res + sorb is indeed a valid strategy, it does not stop a good Auradin.

BTW, stacked out conv and stacked res + sorb rules out all elemental characters, but not a good Auradin.

what is a good Auradin? one that does not rely solely on their aura, but on charge as well. If I remember correctly, my Auradin did between 5-9K charge damage. Enough to keep on going if you are being "sorbed". any Fireballer, blizz or foher can pack up and go home when being sorbed, but auradin atleast can have a physical attack backup in the form of charge.

Double raven or single raven + sorb ring (wisp)

dont use Holy shield (charge bug), but invest some into Blessed aim to get higher AR.

this will get enough FHR and 46%DR, together with just enough resists. fill inv with 5% res all charms and/or life ones and you are good to go.|||you do realise holy fire adds FIRE damage to your charge right? which is also resist-able and sorb-able? and you do lousy physical damage with your hoz zerker? and without enig, you have not many points to pump in vita? and you have no holy shield, so no mb no fbr?

without eni? Do you have ANY idea how much extra str you get with this setup? I only used 9 points into STR.

whacking with a twig is always better than crying of Sorb and needing to S+E.

Meh, who am I arguing to? it will always be B is better than Z, etc..

I just think it IS a viable PvP build, and original as well. You decide if you play it or not.
