Everything was going good with good manners for the most part with everybody. Then a Blizz Sorc and a Trap Assassin Partied up. Ruined the game. They sat the town entrance and just killed anyone who walked out with traps and blizzard :angy:
This happened to some extent in different games, but it was always an assassin or sorceress (had fireballer, blizzarder, and lighting...)
I've been wanting to make an Auradin, and I have the gear to solo hell with him easy enough. Here what I was thinking to have in stash to bring and piss off the BM duelers (I know its BM too, but I'll just hostile them and let everyone else enjoy the game until they rage quit or stop town guarding)
Fire Absorb: Fireball/Meteor
2x Dwarf
Infernostride
Lightning Absorb: Light sorcs, Trapsins
2x Wisp
Thundergods Vigor
Cold Absorb: Blizz, Orber
2x Ravens
Snowclash
Hopefully that is enough Absorb of any single element to take them out and not even be fazed

Let me know if these would do the trick. I can post the other gears that I'll be wearing (for normal play with this build) but this is the PvP forum, so... Right to the point.
EDIT: I know I would probably have better luck putting in my hammerdins stash and using them (and I might if the Auradin doesn't have enough resists) but not even touching them, tanking (healing?) from their attacks, and still killing them would be even more fun

bm trappers are hard to deal with as a druid definitely. trappers are one of, if not the worst match up for a windy.
the easy way out would be to make a character to counter every bm character you expect to see in pub games, but in my opinion, if you expect to do well in pvp, you should find ways to duel all of them using the character you want to specialize at.
for me, i find i actually duel quite a number of modding hammerdins pretty well with my smiter. and i seriously have no troubles with any other chars in pub games.|||Dang.
WW Sins, and Trapsins... and Zons

I just can't get them with my druid. What if I use the 2x wisp and Tgods on my druid to take out Town Guarding trapsins? Would it be sufficient to elminate their damage?
The only thing to worry about after that is

i dun play a druid so i can't help you there. i mean i have a working knowledge of their breakpoints and what they're supposed to do etc, but a better person to ask would definitely be angryteen. =D
if you have any pally questions feel free to ask me though. i'll try to help as much as i can.|||Do you guys just leaves games with people who town guard?
It's usually not right away, they lose a bunch first, then get pissed and town guard/NK.
Suppose just leaving the game is best

Angryteen has been helping me quite a bit actually

So I was playing pubblic duel games with my wind druid yesterday (first time ever playing in a pk game)
just wanted to say that pk and dueling are two different things. pk is more of a HC activity in which someone enters a non duel game, hostiles people, tracks them down (the ones dumb/brave enough to stay) and attempts to kill them. people in a duel game, know they're going to be fighting.|||Quote:

i normally just get out there and beat them. =p or hang around in town until they feel stupid.
i actually think town guarders aren't that bad. it's the modders that are sometimes a little frustrating.|||I townguarded with my bear druid. hehe|||Take cold plains wp
omfgwtfbbqpk them
nk
nk
nk
nk
nk
etc|||Well if ur a windy you can manhandle townguard sorcs, foh-ers, hdins or necs by going out there and stomp them with cyc armor/ minions/health pots/juves etc. Throw a sin into the equation and theres nothing much u can do sadly(unless ur partied with a pally who gives u lightning resist aura).
Haha i usually just wait for some sorbed up smiter or something to kill the tg-ing sin then i go out to kill her friends. Then nk etc until they leave.
