As for dueling, I've found that the desynch is all kinds of bull. It's a guessing game for the opponent and very easy to take advantage of. I've usualy done a tight whirl around or through them and run off before they even see me. That being said, I have a lot of trouble vs hammerdins but that's to be expected, they're broken in LLD. I'm surprised by how easily I'm going through windys even when they spam nados intellegently. I've found whirling with all the frw quite difficult but I'm getting better at it, I even managed a good triwhirl (it was against a nub but still) on the run.
Ok, skills and stats first.
Stats are easy, everything went into vitality.
Skills:
Warcries: 10 points
1 howl
1 shout
1 battle command
7 battle orders
Masteries: 30 points
1 increased stamina
1 iron skin
1 natural resistances
7 increased speed
20 sword mastery
Combat Skills: 1 point
1 leap (for use against good duelers and bmers)
Equipment:
2xBloodletter (shaeled)
*Peasent Crown (13 max damage jewel)
**Rare Ammy (+1barb 10fcr +1max +12ar 6str 52mana)
Artisan's Light Plate of the Squid (**max damage/res jewels)
Bloodfists
Rare Ring (+120ar +85mana +6light res)
**Rare Ring (10fcr 5%ar 53ar +5fire resist +12poison resist)
Sander's Boots
Switch 2xSpirit Swords
Stash Rhyme Bone Shield, Myth Mage Plate (yay prebuff!)
*Represents an item I intend to switch out for something better in the future
**Represents an item I intend to upgrade at some point
Charms totals:
25% FRW
+11 strength (some charms have em, I'm not complaining)
+51 max damage
+493 ar
+74 ar
+15 light res
I've managed a total of 119% FRW with all these items and charms. 1700 hp without prebuff, 1850 with. 4224 ar and 700 max damage.|||Dunno much about llding, but the build sounds quite soild. I think the damage might be a bit low, but looks good to me ^.^ good luck in pubs|||One of the big things for a bvc to find would be a Barb helm with 1-3 ww, but those are few and expensive as is... I think though that the peasent will serve you well for now. Might want to run through classic for a bit or something to find some nice rare rings/boots. I had some fun usin gorefoot boots for the extra to leap, really was fun lol.
Not sure on this one, but does leap interupt dysnch? I know it negates a charger's initial hit every time if you leap em right before they hit. Have you had any real problems with them yet? The range 1 of B-letters really kinda hurts, but i know its necessary. Ill look you up tonight, we can lld spar for a bit

:sad2:
Personally I'd go with 2x Honors... the bonuses are kinda too good to pass up.
2x Honor RW:
* +2 skills (life, speed, res, def, damage)
* Range 3 :smiley:
* 25% Deadly Strike <- oh goody
* +20 STR
* 250 AR
* +20 Life rep
6 fpa attack with Knouts, 8 fpa with Nagas
2x Bloodletters:
* Saves 5-6 skill points getting to WW (tbh I think the honors +skills nullify this bonus)
* Sword Mastery (again nulled by 2x Honors +skills)
* Range 1 :sad2:
* 90 AR
* cool gladiator look
4 fpa attack
As for items maybe SoJ + Angelics to make for better jewelry. Btw I'm also curious have you tied using Peace armor and how'd that differ from your current +damage armor? I have +45 max 80 life Light Plate but I'm wondering which is better... that or peace :?|||Is it possible to get teleport charges on an ammy this early in levels? To use against sorcs >>|||@daydream
Staves only.
@thecowking
You can't use SoJs on a WWer because of the MDR bug. Well you can, it's just dumb. Also, bloodletters let me get a good level of WW without a single point investment and their low reqs allow a pure vit build.
Range 1 on bloodletters isn't bad most of the time, but you bassicly have to wait for them to stop or get a lead so they run through your ww. It sounds bad but in practice you can get em when they stop to cast. Overall, 2xRobo Nagas is probably better.|||I don't have the time to write an extensive guide but I'll list gear that would be optimal for a BVC but not insane rares that would be impossible to find. I won't list any jewel that has more than 2 affixes.
+3WW 3os helm with 3x 24 max jewels
3os mage/light plate with 3x 20ED/8min jewels
1barb/9str/60life amulet (or go for more res if you want)
Sanders boots
SoE or Deaths sash
2 Nagas with 2xshael and 4x jewel (15max/20ED jewels would be a good choice)
Rings with high mana and some of the following mods - str/dex/res/rep/min dmg/life
Bloodfists
BTW - Sojs are useable on a BVC despite the MDR bug. If you have a top of the line BVC with high damage, the %reduction to your total damage will be low. However, on a budger BVC with lower damage I wouldn't recommend sojs.
Of course if you want to use classic dupes, you can make a much better BVC but I'm writing this guide for a legit LLDer.|||Quote:

First find me someone who's willing to sell 3os 3 WW baba helm on the ladder for less than 2k fg >_<
And that gear is optimal enough to be available only for the super rich.
But as said WW'ers do so much damage the bug from SoJ is meaningless. Tbh I'd use 2x SoJ + Peace Plate since casters dont have defense to speak of. Also the extra mana is just cream berry.|||Well, my calc is missing so I can't really do the math now but I can't see peace being better then an artisans light/mageplate of the squid with jewels. I think it would take a helluva helm to make me give up the pcrown though, it would have to be a godly circlet or something along the lines of +1 barb +3ww 2os +life.
