Max Damage Orber Pvp Guide 1.0

[:1]3 Years Later, And i found this Qustion. Googling D2 Orb Sorc Pvp. Haha, For The Very vew people who acuautly still play this game, or if your like me, and just got back into it, i would like to Answer this Almost 4 year old qustion. A Maxed Out Frozen Orb At the VERY Absolute Highest Damage Possible On Screen is 2,350 Damage (Give or Take 100 Damage). i Came to this conclusion From Making This build, Through TONS of Unessacry Purchases. This Is the BEST Possible Gear For Such FO Damage. I Came to This With the following.

20% Cold Damage Nightwings(Faceted) 35% Cold Damage Deaths Fathem(Faceted), 20+ 20- Faceted ArconPlate, 20+ 20- Faceted Monarch, 2 Sojs, Arachs, a 3 to cold Skills Ammy 9 Cold Skillers, Torch, And Annulis.

Follow Along And bear with me. Here how it Breaks down,

20 FO

20 CM

And the Rest is for you to choose.

Overall you Will get 25+ SKills.(including The Bo)

3Deaths,2Nightwings,3Ammy,2Sojs,1Arachs,9gcs,3Torc h,1Anni, 1 Bo.

Witch Will Bring your Maxed Skills to 45, At this Rate your FO Will be doing 1.1k-1.2k Give or Take 50 Damage.

Thats RAW Fo. and now we Take the % Cold Damage Into Effect,

35%Fathem,20AP,20Monarch,20Nightwings. This Brings Us to 95% Cold Dmg Increase.

Calculate AT MOST. 1.2k + 95% Turns out 1,140 Damage. Add those and You Get 2,340 Damage. And Now into the PVP Section Witch is what i made this Build For.

With Cold Mastery at 45, You Will hit 240- To Enemy Cold Resistance.

And now You factor In the Gear Portion of this,

20-AP,20-Monarch,5-Nightwings,5-Deaths.

Calculate that(if you have to) is 50%- To ECR Together With CM

Youll Be Devastating with your 290%-, And Even To The Sorbers, Stackers, And So On, Reasoning this as follows

Since Your PVP Damage Will 1/6 Your FO Witch Will Touch it down to a Peacefull 390-400 Damage...UNTIL you Calculate(Yea, More Calculateing) Enemey Resistance, Since Your 90% of the time going to knock down Even super Stackers Down To -100 Res. Youll Be Doing Double. But I Was more Relistic And did this with a 1.7x Damage, To be on the safe side. Youll Roughly, and this is agaisnt a sorbstacker, A.k.a 20 Sorb=40% Res. Each Shard Will Inflict Just Around 700 Damage PER. So Now you just Aknowlege That MOST Pvpers, Have 2.5k Health or Less. And thats if their GG. So it Would Take A Measly 3-5 Bolts AT MOST To take out The Masses. Now You Have the Tanks. That are More High Health High Damage Characters. Mostly Barbs And Druids. They Will Have An Average Around 4-6k. Your Only Real Challenge AT ALL Would be Maybe a Windy Druid. The Shapeshifers And Other Melee Characters, INCLUDING the GG Smiters, Are Now Absolete as If Your First Orb(Preditcing that its Aimed Near Them) Hits Into them with lets say 5-9 Shards. And If Your First Orb Doesnt Kill them, Oh Wait. Your A Sorceress, You can Telee! :], YOUR SECOND one WILL. Even if say the average 2-5 Shards hit. And Well For Casters, They are Just If not more devasted by this SPAMMABLE Skill, Considering Necros Despretely Need the FCR to keep up with you So Them Stacking In Themselfs Will Doom them, And That Their Bone Armor Only Takes Physical Damage. As For Other Sorceresses (Es, Without ES Well Then its Even easier), Their Mana Pool Will Utterly Be drained Leaving them Walking For their Lives as the first or second Bolt to their health will end them, as they have no Spirit Or 40 Bo. Well Done. You Have The Best Possible PVP Character In the history of Diablo 2.(in My opinion). Your Only Worries Would like i stated Before, would Be the Telee Stomping Windy Druid. And One of your own. As Cold Sorcs Have Cold Sorbing Gear And What I REALLY Built this Character Agaisnt, The GG of The GG HDins. Im Talking 16k Hammers HUGE Fcr, HUGE Deffence Possibly Using Salvation or Cold Resistance Aura, As Hammers Cant Be Sorbed, Stacked Agaisnt Or Really Much of ANY protection, They Seem The Best Build, But, In reality Relising That FO (I Will Finnaly Clear This up) Sends Out 16 IceShards On Its Way, And 18 When It Explodes Into A Winter Fury IN ONE CAST. Compared to HDins Tactics, Witch Will ALWAYS Be one of these, They Will Either Charge Around Spamming Their Hammers Hopeing that youll Tele Into An Incomming Hit, Or Theyll Tele, Witch Theres two More Options, They will Do the same as their Charging Counterpart, OR They Will Try to Telee Stomp You. Witch Might Seem More Likely. So As long as you Play Deffence, Youll Win Every Time as They will Most Likey Stomp Your Orb More often than youd Think. And So There You Go UberFans of Diablo 2. things have changed a little in the past three years.

sure, sorks, zons and necs might have 2.5k health or less.

barbs and druids routinely crack 6k. pallys and 'sins can bust 5k with pretty off-the-shelf gear.|||Quote:

As i said, Barbs and druids will have around 4-6k. So its not Inacerrate by anymeans:]. And I Said MOST, not all:P Anyways. its my first guide.! Ill update it or maybe even put videos up as I Work out Some Kinks With My Es.|||That isn't even most. Paladins are a huge % of what you'll see. Meph's also going low on necs. They can get up to 3K or so. Sorcs usually are split on mana anyway, which can be 3-4.5K|||Decent guide but a max damage FO build isn't really necessary, you reduce your survivability for damage that you don't really need. My FO sorc does 1.6k orb with 1.5k life/4k + mana and it's more than enough to take care of pubbies. Max damage build has crappy base fhr and fcr and little psn resist.



You'll still have the same basic problems with recast druids/salv or cold res aura pallys that a less damage orber would have, you'll just die quicker.|||Wow! You totally blew my mind!

I have seen a few ES/Orb Sorcs do well though. Paladins will still outstack even -200% resists though (stinking paladins ) Sacrificing gear for max damage isn't really nescessary as stack/sorb will still murder you. Sacrificing a little isn't as big a deal since you're a sorceress and should have enough +skills to teleport forever. Avoid being hit... Right now you have what? 50 FCR? Even Shapeshifted duelers will catch you and destroy you |||Quote:

it shows.|||I believe you can still squeeze some 105%FCR and max block and put some 1.8k-2k damage.
