Most versatile hybrid, thoughts?

I'm currently working on a test char, which is going surprisingly well..

Basically, its a paladin that utilizes pretty much all the skills, being mainly hammer, and having smite, charge, and foh as a backup....

Foh, i pumped to doing 1k dmg, conviction is only 1 point, along with fanaticism, smite, charge, and holy shield being 1 pt, i maxed Bhammer, vigor, and concentration.. 1 pt into every other skill.



max damages are as follows;

Bhammer: 6.2k

Charge: 1k*

smite: 800-ish*

Foh: 1k

Note that im using grief, which makes it viable, and i've even smited a few hammerdins when they telestomped me...

It's merely a test char at the moment, and its great fun, but having low resistances, i might sell my hybsin to get life/res charms, and some better gear....

torch anni, ofcourse, no charms as of yet except for a max/ar/life GC, but im just holding it, will replace with life/res when i can

Thoughts? ive been doing some duels and it really surprised me how effective it is, based on the fact that its a very low-stat item, no charm test subject...

Spirit pally shield (for your res issue) would solve cast.|||with your and sass's suggestions you're pretty much looking at liberator gear with mage skill placements?

i'd say leave the ravenfrost off unless you need cbf. go with 2x skill rings (trangs, arach and 35% spirit gets you exactly to 75% fcr).

i'd also suggest having a 3/3 faceted foh stick in your stash for when you want extra oompf. you'll also want some pcombs maybe to help with foh/hammer damage.

only real problem i see is that you're spreading yourself awful thin and may wind up diluting your build down. making a mage or making a liberator may be better than trying to mix both.|||Quote:

Actually, it seems that im hitting the 75 FCR BP

edit; at least im casting fast enough :P

+ i just got myself a crappy exile for BM lulz and tears

Note; with such low smite damage, lifetap is inneffective, and grants 150-200 HP each hit, back to upg zaka

As i said, its a test char :P

Its basically a liberator with 1 pt foh, and viable smite, and its pretty damn fun

Need to upgrade my charms tho, only 2.6k life ATM, and level 83, baalruns tomorrow :P
