pvp charger

I have decided to make a 2handed charger for pvp but a little skeptical on which items to wear. I mainly want him to have massive damage while retaining good health and resists. I read a few guides but they all say different equipment.

so far im thinking

ebotd war pike or death colossus sword

fort/coh/levi for dr and looks

gaze/gskull/coa if i can get one

dracs or rends

gores or treks or waterwalks

dungos? maybe combo of ik belt, boot glove?

highlord/ravens?

also do chargers need ias?|||chargers dont need ias. i'm gonna assume you dont want a 1 handed / shield setup (which can be nice for stacking res and smiting with grief, but not so nice for getting max block because the holy shield + charge bug is a serious pain in the ***).

weapon: war pike = no no because paladins get garbage fhr breakpoints with spears for some reason. if you really want botd make it in a thunder maul, but i strongly suggest death since it does more average/minimum damage. make it in a glorious axe or decapitator; colossus sword = crap requirements and a bit less average dmg.

armor: fort = more dmg but not that much (300ed on top of ~2000ed...), so if you dont have much res charms go for coh.

helm: 60 res coa or kira's because your res will probably be garbage otherwise. kira's has cbf mind you, which allows you to use full angelics without having to put on a silly trang belt. when you dont need res use guillaumes for that juicy 15% deadly strike (very important mod for chargers) and 30 fhr.

gloves: bloodfist for fhr and life. dracs or rends will barely do anything. maybe IK to save some stats, especially if you want a 1 handed / shield / max block setup.

belt: dungos, tgods, or hsarus (gives you significant AR when paired with boots)

boots: gores for 15% DS, hsarus for AR or some res boots for stacking res.

ammy: highlords for a very nice ~33% DS, or angelics.

rings: ravenfrost for cbf/AR, wisp, dwarf, BK, whatever, or angelics.

charms: some res or fhr if you need it (bloodfist + all the helms i mentionned give you the 48 fhr breakpoint, but the 86 one could be nice to get), rest = ar/life or max/ar/life. i prefer ar myself in practice but max/ar makes more sense on paper, since charge has a much bigger ed% than ar%.

helm jewel(s): whatever you feel you're lacking, but if you want to go for more dmg a 30 max dmg jewel will add a lot more than a 40%ed.

enjoy killing those no block casters in one hit!|||Here's a thread you should find interesting:

Now tell me would it be worth sacraficing tons of life and resist for tons of fhr? I do not think so because you will die faster which is not good at all.|||Unless you go into the hundred BP, you don't sacrifice anything for more FHR. You should always duel at a minimum of 86%, and 48% for WW users.

It's certainly possible to escape charge.
