Pvp question help!

[:1]I have a 40ias griefZ but i have 20% ias gloves and 2x40/15 coa.

which will be a total of 90% not including fanatism...

But i hear grief pb is better for pvp because the breakpoint.

But i also hear griefz has more damage and longer reach.

i wanna know will it hit the breakpoint if i use griefz

and would that be best for pvp right now?

BEcause i dont wanna use stats into dex.

please give me some answers cause im kinda confused how the breakpoint works and stuff.

Thank you (:|||Which class are you playing and for what skill do you seek break points?|||smite paladin|||if you're max fana, you need 50 ias to hit max ias bp with zerker.

practically, that means:

40 ias zerker with bloodfist

or

any ias zerker with 20ias gloves

any grief pb hits the max ias frame for smite, leaving your gloves free. (think trangs/arachs/spirit st for 75fcr setup, or if you can get your hands on/in a pair, 08 gloves with str/dex/life/res)

pros and cons of zerker vs pb:

zerker has 3 range, 1 more range than pb. in svs, this means you start, and therefore get off your smite earlier than your opponent. which means you win more. (not by much, but it helps)

it also helps vs barbs in making it harder for them to kite you with whirlwind.

however, repair costs are insane.

pb is indestructible, which means you don't need to repair your grief.

its shorter range also makes it easier to land charges, because minimum range is shorter (2 compared to 3).

it also does a lot better vs slowing chars (anyone using arachs or nos coil or clegs. those are the 3 most common slow items you'll encounter)

against holy freeze, pb does way better. assuming lvl 15 holy freeze, you only need 50 ias to reach a 7 frame smite. with a 40ias grief pb, and ias gloves, you reach it already.

this as compared to zerker, which requires 147 ias for the same 7 frame smite. you can't reach that bp without compromising dr. the best you can hope for is a 9 frame smite. which is pathetic. if you're forced to use a 9 frame smite, you've lost.

to cut a long story short, it depends. if you think you're going to be charging more than you're smiting, or if you think your opponent is going to slow you, use pb. for everything else, use zerker.|||Moreover, PB makes it easier for tele-smiting, so pro for PB.
