[:1]Alright so I've been trying to remake my PvP Bowzon from the good old days when I used to play but have noticed they aren't nearly as powerful as they used to be or I'm doing something wrong. I've tried going half Vitality and half dexterity but that ends up backfiring and I lack quite a bit of damage. Not to mention putting points into Vitality really doesn't improve a bowzons survivability anyways. Their resistances usually aren't high and they can't block.
So I've decided to respec and try the all Dexterity route this time. I have the gear and the means to get more gear should the build require it. Cost is of little importance I just want it to be solid in PvP.
Here's what it looks like thus far...
Stats: Enough for gear
Dexterity: Everything
Vitality: None
Energy: None
Skills:
20 Guided Arrow
10 Critical Strike
8 Dodge
8 Avoid
8 Evade
I don't know what else to pour my points into here. I would assume I should either max strafe or multishot. Plus skill items take care of dodge avoid evade and crit strike. They cap at a certain level so I don't want to waste points in those.
Gear:
Helm - 120% ED 45 IAS 30 FRW Circlet
Amulet - Cats Eye
Weapon - Perfect GM Faith
Armor - Dusk Shroud Fortitude
Rings - Dual Perfect Ravens
Belt - Nosferatus Coil (I was debating about getting dungos but I like the slow effect here)
Boots - Gore Riders
Gloves - Crafted Viper Claw Heavy Bracers
5% Chance to cast level 4 Frost Nova when struck
20% Increased Attack Speed
Knockback
30% Enhanced Defense
+11 Strength
Attacker Takes Damage of 5
22% Magic Find
Inventory - 19/20/9 Anni
Perfect Zon Torch (Still trying to obtain this one I'll have it soon)
20x 175 PSN 3 FRW SCs (I'm at 120% FRW right now I believe I'm thinking about adding 16 more of these for more damage and FRW which would put me at like 168% FRW)
I don't know about the poison charms though they don't seem like they pack enough punch to be effective but they are the only psn charm that can get 3 FRW. Should I try to get 251s 313s 451s or just stay the course with the 175s? Also my life is at 355 right now and my resists are...-16 in hell they will be a little better once I have torch though. Still this is going to be a very hard glass cannon build to play. I'm essentially a walking OHKO....especially to FoH I swear I hate FoH pallies -_-|||- Vitality and balanced builds are superior to dex only builds.
- More skills into Dodge and avoid and critical strike.
- ~25 level multi shot with all your gear on.
- Gmb faith is better than matron and you have the speed for it already. Get one with 13+ fana aura.
- Switch one raven for a rare one with ar/stats/life/etc
- Gores to wartravellers. Gores can be used when you think the ow will be a bigger benefit than the damage from wartravellers, ie. versus es sorcs.
- Switch poison scs to a mix of 3/20/20s, 3/20/3s and 3/res small charms.
There's a few points to improve.|||- How balanced should the stats be 1 Vitality for every 1 Dexterity? I have a 6 BO CTA that will help a little bit with life.
- Dodge Avoid Evade and Crit Strike all cap at a certain level so increasing them too much seems like a waste of points. I was also thinking about multi shot but some people say it's better to strafe in PvP. I guess I'll put one point into strafe and then pour points into multi.
- Aren't GMB and GM the same thing or does GMB refer to a different kind of bow?
- How many HRs are rare rings like that worth on East Ladder?
- I can easily switch to War Travs
- What are 3/20/20s and 3/20/3s? Should I just get enough 3/res charms to max resists? Like 15 or so? What are 175 psn damange 3 frw scs worth? I might just trade em then if they aren't worth keeping.|||Quote:

- I personally prefer dex for maxblock rest to life for bow vs. all. The longer you live the longer you will be able deal damage.
- You should have titans in switch, not cta. Put cba in cube and carry it with you if you must have cta.
- My bad on the GM. Mixed it with matriarcal bow.
- 3/20/20 is 3 maxium damage / 20 attack rating / 20 life small charm. 3/20/3 is same but life replaced by 3 faster run and walk. Both are most likely really hard to find this early on ladder and can be replaced with something similar. For example: 3 max / 1x ar / 15+ life, +10 max / xx ar / 40+ life gcs etc.
I have no clue about prices in east ladder.|||I usually play all caster classes and never really understood why people use +max damage items like the 3 max damage sc. The damage seems so insignificant and it only benefits your max damage not your minimum. Maybe I'm missing a key to this concept seeing as I've only ever played sorceresses, trapsins, and necromancers. How greatly does enhanced damage effect that 3 point of damage?
Also does attack rating increase the chance to hit an opponent in PVP?
Why titans on switch? I won't have any javelin skills to use at all would it just be for stats? What shield should I use with it?|||Quote:

+3 max damage charms will greatly increase your damage. Inventory makes or breaks bowazons, the charms are needed.
Guided arrow is auto hit attack, but multi shot requires attack rating.
You need to have Lightning fury and Lightning bolt. Javelin switch with fury and bolt is very important part of bowas. Storm is the shield to use.|||if u have 20x175 psn u will do dmg (if they have 75 res to psn) 875 over 6 sec? i think i would rather have instant dmg of the 3max then its really costly to makes these good bowas ^^|||there is nice bow guide in stickies...|||Quote:

All of that +max damage is multiplied by your enhanced damage from dex, helm, fort, skill, etc. It can really add up.|||it add up on both side (bow and java). eth uped titans with ed on few pieces of equipment+dx/str bonus and critical gives serious punch...
