Wolf or Hybrid WWsin?

I havn't played d2 in a year or so and ive played all classes before (except casters (excluding trap sins) and barbs). I want to focus on finding items for the main character that i will be PVPing with. So i was wondering if ww/hybrid or fury/rabies (ive played them both VERY much before i quit) would be in terms of which would be

1. stronger overall against all characters

2. cheaper (gear and charm wise)

3. better for pvm (though i wont be doing that much)

on ladder. Thanks =)|||1. Hybrid sin easily, fury/rabies is good versus low-medium skilled opponents, but when you reach into the top tier of duelists you really see the build's shortcomings. The same actually could be said of the hybrid sin too, but to a much lesser extent.

2.I only know East SCNL prices, and a fury/rabies is cheaper to build, even with high lifers, the most single expensive piece of gear is the Etomb.

3.This question depends on what you want to do really, the sin excels in crowd control and area damage (gogo death sentry) the wolf focuses on massive damage to a small area (whatever he can reach). Rabies doesn't seem to crash games as much as it used to, so the druid gets a nice answer to physical immunes, but of course he can't teleport.|||Well if the hybrids useing ls and infinity merc it's a no brainer I know very little about assassins but a wolf is cheap ? to biuld ehhhh no rare eth fools arnt cheap 08 bk and highlords arnt cheap either you might be able to make a cookie cutter wolf cheaper but for top end gear there both very expensive chars . Ps 3 friends I play with have wolves worth over 100 k fg

3. Hybdrid sin is better, simply because you can teleport with her; while a wolf has to walk.

also wolf can teleport, just not in wolf shape...and feral gives nasty frw...

Well true ^^ but the sin's expensive gear has a lot more impact on the duel outcome then the wolf's. I've dueled with the best druids on East NL and all that gear doesn't really make much of a difference in the overall outcome, it's just for show really. On the other hand a sin using god like rare claws (and other such gear but claws really are the deal breaker when it comes to hybrids, also 08 uniques are not available on ladder, so the OP couldn't get them even if he wanted to), a hybrid that does good physical damage is a far different and more dangerous opponent then one that can't afford high damage items.

Both of course can make excellent trophy characters and looking for that one piece of gear for years and finally finding it can be quite the experience ^^ (Jeweler's phase blade of quickness anyone?)|||Hybrids can easily be done on a budget. You don't need the fancy expensive gear, just hit the breakpoints.|||Quote:

Rare circlets and rare fools make a world of difference on a rabies fury wolf Vs all but makes more difference vs top tier duellers in pubs your right propably wouldn't make that much difference
