im tired of making a character, leveling it up, gearing it up COMPLETELY with
ultimately insane best gear, an still die in PvP.
this has happened many times
first I made a bowazon because i heard they are perrrrdy good
geared her up, got a few kills, got owned, *repeat*
what im looking for is a character that will just ANNIHILATE public PvP games
(please dont say a hammerdin)
yes hammerdins are good, but theyre boring for pvp an they get old....seriously, who doesnt have a hammerdin these days?
anyways, my current character I just geared up is a PvP FoH Paladin
Current Gear:
- Perfect Griffons Eye socketed with a perfect lighting Facet
- CoH and Enigma (I use one or the other, I switch alot)
- FoH stick with 5 perfect Lite Facets and +3 conviction/+3 FoH
- 2x SoJ
- Maras (30 Res)
- GG gloves with FCR, Health, Mana, Res, etc.
- GG boots with the same stuff as gloves
- Arachnid
- HoZ w/ Perfect lite facet
- 6 BO CTA
- perfect pally Spirit
- 16/15 P torch
- 20/16 Anni
- 9x Pcombs with 40 health mod on all
- a few FHR an +20 health charms (9 all together)
okay so with all that gear I should own right? well I do, but it takes a few hits on barbs an smiters etc....dont get me wrong, im really good at my FoH, but I still yet get owned by bowazons, javazons, smiters sometimes, an most of all, ****ing TG mind blast assassin bung hole hippys! theyre the worst lol, but okay, thats all i realy gotta say
like i said, im looking for a build thatll just annihilate everything out there

please list a short guide if possible on the build
include top notch most expensive gear an inventory charms
and thats all i realy need to know

thank you very much! ^_^

oh an please just PM me or reply to this thread

Some top tier that don't have to deal with that are the Bone Nec and the Wind Druid.
Due to stack, a druid has an easier time vs hdins and smiters, but can be locked by sins.
Necs deal magic damage, so is guaranteed to hurt unless it's vs an ES sorc.
Even in top tier, there will be hindrances. Those are two popular, effective pub clearing builds. I'm going to be honest, if you can get the gear and still die, it's going to be an issue with you as well.
Practice with one of these. If you're new to those builds, expect to die at the beginning, but you'll get better and get kills.
If I had to suggest one, I'd go with the nec since I like them more than druids. Windies are still plenty effective if you're a druid guy.

You didnt want to hear hammerdin, but fact remains hammerdins or necros are the best **for pubs** because its magic, ie unabsorbable. Especially a pure bm hammerdin with lots of stack sorb and max res ... remains nr 1 pub annihilator. Btw, you seem to think of hammerdins as OP, but if you duel a lot and know how to f.e. southwalk and wsg and about their blindspots, you will learn hammerdins are not that good, especially in gm 1vs1 private duels. Well played Vita necros, BvC's, pure W/S trapper, ele druids, or heck even 200fcr fire sorcs, are all far better.|||Any build will take some time to learn.
bowazons are pretty good in the right hands, because players have been playing them for many years and know how to be very evasive and not get hit, as well as know how to use different abilities together, multishot, fury, and other tools zons have.
also "ultimate insane best gear" is subjective. what you think is the ultimate may not be a top zon's player choice of gear. what a pub player finds to work best for them may not be what is written in zvz guides, and so on.
also to note, pvp class balance is a lot of rock paper scissors, class disadvantages can be overcome as long as they are not hard counters, but different class advantages exist.
this chart was made by pvp guru TienJe a couple of years ago:
http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/9...atrixv1fo8.png
it is not 100% accurate and he guessed on some matchups cause he didn't play all classes, just most (lol kickar vs wc barb should be like 9:1 in the kicker's favor, but how often does that matchup come up?), but overall it's a nice chart to give players not familiar with pvp a good general sense of the rock-paper-scissors balance of d2. (to note: the class balance is with standard gm rules, 1v1 duels. in bm the class balance would be different since all elemental characters can be shut down 1v1. in teams the class balance would be different because a combination of characters have different balance against particular opponents than they might 1v1)
bone necros and trappers are generally considered the top tier of pvp characters under gm rules.
wind druids being just under top tier, (and in no particular order) bvcs, bva, hammerdins, v/t, hybridsins, ghosts, fb sorcs, blizz sorcs, and a bunch of other builds being a~b tier depending on who you ask and which realm you duel on, and a number of other builds being viable enough to compete with these high tier builds, but you gotta be good on them.
basically, take your pick on what kinda gameplay style suits you, and keep playing your char and learn. you aren't gonna pick up a bowazon on week1 and be good with it. same for most other classes.|||Yeah skills are a big deal in pvp. I sucked with my max block ES lightning sorc at first and even died to bone necros. Now that I have some more experience I can beat alot of people (unless they sorb ofcourse). And its not like I have spend alot of money on the character, only around 200 of a currency I am not gona name.
The only opponent I could kill easily right off the bat where pure bowzons for obvious reasons.|||Quote:

boots with FCR?
i call shenanigans.|||Your deaths can be attributed to the fact that you don't have 20/20 Anni and Torch.|||Quote:

That really says it all. Expecting an "I win" button says I know nothing about pvp, but I have the means of getting gear through trade or real money.
No build is un-killable. Unless, you never leave town, but then in that respect any build works.
If you never give yourself time to learn a build, it won't matter how good your gear is, you won't know what you're doing and you will get torn apart by veteran players.
Foh is a one-trick pony when built right, as they typically can 1-2 shot folks who aren't prepared for em. But they're not even fun, a hammerdin takes more effort most of the time.
Most important thing for pvp is to find a class/build that you enjoy, so that you don't mind learning its strengths and weaknesses.|||Lvl 8 smiter. Absolutely impossible to kill.|||The Uber Tristram monsters will kill that Smiter. Easily.
